 Managing Partner/Principal Consultant Mr. Mark Chim | Mr. Mark Chim Suan Kit has spent 15 years working in the Asean region marketing and distributing consumer products. He has experience in setting up local operations in Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand and Vietnam, and established partnership ventures in Hong Kong, Philippines and Indonesia. His experience also extends to negotiations with western partners for brand licensing rights to manufacture and distribute products in Asia. He currently sits on the boards of medium size companies in Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand and Indonesia as a non-executive director and is also involved in several finance sub-committees of public clubs and charity organizations. Mark Chim was educated in the University of Newcastle, Australia and graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce majoring in Economics. He has a Graduate Diploma in marketing Communications from the Marketing Institute of Singapore graduating top of his class (Gold Medal), and has attained a Master of Business majoring in International Marketing from the Curtin University of technology, Australia. Mark Chim is a member of the Marketing Institute of Singapore, and a full member of the Singapore Institute of Directors. He is also a member of the Institute of Internal Auditors Malaysia and CPA Australia. |
 Manager/Consultant Ms. Tran Thi Tuyet Anh | Ms Tran Thi Tuyet Anh is a Vietnamese national and has been working in the accounting field in Vietnam for 4 years. She worked with a French/Vietnamese(JV) Technology company for one year, and subsequently worked as a senior accountant with the Taiwanese national airlines, EVA Airways, in Ho Chi Minh for 3 years. Her job entailed the full accounting process and reporting to the Taiwanese HQ based on the Taiwan accounting standards, as well as submission to the local authorities based on the Vietnam accounting standards. Ms Tran graduated with a Bachelor of Accounting from the University of Fisheries , Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam and has a Certificate of tax accounting from the University of Economics, Vietnam. Currently she is pursuing a Master of Accounting on a part time basis with the Marketing Institute of Singapore/Curtin University of technology, Australia. |
Associate Consultant - Mr Joseph Clement Pereira
Joseph Clement Pereira worked in three branches of the government for six years, seven years in banking and four and a half years in sales before embarking on a career as a business consultant covering Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia. Beginning December 1992 he began to undertake work in Vietnam travelling there frequently throughout the Nineties. In January of 1996, he started to undertake work in Laos PDR as well. Since then he has worked on innumerable projects covering market research reports to business matching assignments for foreign businesses entering Vietnam. Joseph continues to write for trade publications as a contributing writer and has also delivered lectures on topics relating to Vietnam's business climate. Joseph has been admitted as a chartered consultant of the American Consultants League since 1994.
